Robertson joined Dundee City Council to welcome pupils into the first school to be delivered during the second phase of the city's £90million schools re-building programme.
Fintry Primary School is one of eight schools to be delivered by the Discovery Education consortium which includes Robertson Capital Projects as project manager and investor - contractors Robertson Tayside, Robertson Central, Sir Robert McAlpine - and Robertson Facilities Management.

The two-stream Fintry Primary School, with nursery, has 14 classrooms, associated resource rooms, a music/drama studio, assembly hall and games hall, as well as a range of community and other educational facilities. There is also stained glass artwork that pupils helped to create outlining the values of the primary.
The schools re-building project will deliver six primary and two secondary schools. Claypotts Castle, Downfield, St Andrew's and Craigowl primaries and the first phase of the Grove Academy replacement were delivered during the first phase of the project.
As well as Fintry Primary, the second phase will also see the development of Rowantree Primary, St Paul's Academy and the completed Grove Academy.
Robertson executive chairman, Bill Robertson, said: "It is extremely pleasing that Robertson can be in attendance today to welcome pupils into this new modern educational facility.
"From the design stage through to construction, we have remained focused on creating purpose-built premises which contribute positively to the learning outcomes of local children.
"We have continued to strengthen our relationship with Dundee City Council throughout the second phase of the project which, as well as Fintry Primary, will deliver a further primary school, one secondary school and the second phase of Grove Academy.
"We will also to continue to work in partnership with the council over the next 30 years through the provision of facilities management services."
Depute education convener Cllr Stewart Hunter added: "This is an exciting day for all connected with Fintry Primary School. Pupils and staff are keen to get to know their new surroundings and start their lessons in the classrooms.
"The building offers many opportunities to further improve the learning and teaching experience and I am sure that everyone will be impressed by the new primary."
